In Dinajpur, thousands of unemployed, helpless and destitute people protested by blocking Dinajpur-Birol road to protest against the death of thousands of poor and disabled people due to the coronavirus.
The Kanchan Bridge road in Baluadanga area of Dinjpur Sadar was blocked . Thousands of women and men participated in the protest.
The protesters complained that 10 no ward Municipal Councilor Sidratul Islam Kala Babu and 2 no ward Municipal Councilor had not given any relief in the Mukti Babu area.
The protesters said that even though the government has provided relief, they have not received any relief so far. In Word 10, Noor-Nehar Bewa said, "We are not getting any relief even though the government provided relief." "I have five
members in my house, no work because of the lockdown, so I’m sitting in the field," said Fensi Akhtar, a resident at 2 no Ward. Only those who have relations with the leaders of the government are getting relief.
