The portal of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police: http:// vrmanagement. rmp .gov.bd/ has introduceE-Passport verificationfor the first time to accelerate the activities of verification of E-Passports.
BiplobBijoyTalukder, Police Commissioner of RMP inaugurated the Passport Verification Messaging and Tracking System portal at the RMP Headquarters on 19 September evening.
An applicant for the passport would be able to learn about the latest information about the investigation of the application through the SMS on Mobile phones at the same time the applicant would be able to make a contact with the concerned Investigation Officer which would enable the applicant to know about the progress of the Investigation of his application.
According to a press release from RMP, on July 20, 2023, Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun inaugurated two software named VR Management Software and Witness Management Software at the 31st Founding anniversary function of RMP. As a part of the inauguration, the Passport Verification Messaging and Tracking System software in introduced today and the Witness Management Software will also be introduced soon. Police Inspector ( Town and Traffic) Abdul AlimSarker of RMP Traffic division made these two software.
During the inauguration of the software, Additional Police Commissioner ( Crime and Operations) BijoyBasak, Additional Police Commissioner( Admin and Finance) Mohammad Hemayetul Islam along with RMP high-ups were present.
