Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) has organized a cycle stunt show in the city aimed at creating awareness among the public in general against the abuse of drugs.
The RMP Commissioner Muhammad Abu Sufian launched the cycle show in front of Central Eidgah with the slogan "Build vibrant Bangladesh, move on cycle, speak about green and build drug abuse free Bangladesh" on Staurday.
RMP organized the event supported by Roundtable Bangladesh and Duranta Bangladesh. On the occasion, a total of 100 members of 0.6 gravity riders displayed different stunt shows.
Speaking on the occasion, Abu Sufian called for making the entire society, particularly the young generation, drug addiction free for building a healthy nation.
Forging social resistance against abuse of drugs along with its illicit trafficking and trading can be the best way of protecting the young generation from drug-addiction.
Simultaneously, concerted efforts of all the government and non-government entities concerned and the community has become crucial to ensure a drug abuse free society to attain the cherished goal.
RMP Deputy Commissioner Anirban Chakma, Assistant General Manager of RFL Shariful Islam, Brand Manager Khandaker Arif Hossain, National President of Roundtable Bangladesh Sifat Uddin Beg and Mahmud Al Wahid from Dhaka Roundtable were present, among others.
