An RMG worker was allegedly murdered by his friend on May 25 early hours at Muslimnagar village under Fatulla model police station in Narayanganj.
The deceased victim was identified as Ferdous, 30, son of Abdul Mia, resident of Shuvodugi village of Potuakhali.
Soon after the incident police captured the accused named Rakib, 29, son of Subhan Mia, resident of Poponchar village in Shariatpur and sent him to the court, police sources asserted.
Shahera Khatun , elder sister of slain Ferdous recorded a murder case with Fatulla police station accusing Rakib alone.
Widow of the victim Sadia Khatun informed the media that she married Ferdous only a month ago and she saw a friendship between her husband and Rakib as they lived in two adjacent rooms. She also added that she did not found any reason behind the killing yet.
The inspector (investigation) of Fatulla police station MD Shahadat Hossain told that initially it was found in investigation that the accused was a victim of Sodomy and thus being annoyed he killed Ferdous by stabbing with a sharp weapon in the bathroom of their residence.
