Renowned singer Rinku, who has been battling severe health issues since 2020, is set to make a remarkable comeback. After suffering multiple strokes that left his right arm and leg paralyzed and impaired his speech, Rinku had to pause his music career. He currently resides in his home in Bara Sawta village, Atrai Upazila, Naogaon.
In January 2022, Rinku released "Rangila Naoka," his first new song in two years. His next release, "Joshna Bilash," recorded four years ago, is written and composed by AR Raj and will soon be available under the Media Voice label.
A press conference was held last Saturday to announce the release of "Joshna Bilash." Rinku, who attended the event, shared that his health has shown some improvement. He expressed his desire to return to regular music practice once fully recovered. Reflecting on his illness, he lamented the lack of support during his difficult times.
"After a long time, my music will be on the air. This is such great news for me. I recorded this track before experiencing multiple strokes. I'm hopeful the audience will enjoy the song," Rinku shared emotionally.
He described his current condition, saying, "I'm slightly better now. The doctor said with proper treatment, my condition will improve, but it will take time. Please keep me in your prayers so I can sing again."
At the press conference, Alimullah Khokon, CEO of Jazz Multimedia, along with lyricist and music director Milton Khandakar, singer and composer Plabon Koreshi, vocalist F A Sumon, and others, called for support from the Prime Minister and prominent figures for Rinku's treatment. Despite his struggles, Rinku remains hopeful and looks forward to continuing his musical journey.
