A rickshaw puller’s throat slit body was recovered from Ati area under Shiddhirganj police station in the small hours of Friday in the district.
The deceased was identified as Sujon Mia, 45, son of Suroj Mia, permanent resident of Gobindapur village of Chandpur district and now lived at Mismiji area under Shiddhirganj police station at the residence of Monsur Master as a tenant.
On information police rushed to the spot and recovered the slaughtered body of Sujon Mia and was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy. In murder case was filed in this connection.
Officer in charge of Shiddhirganj police station Moshiur Rahman said that the unknown criminals killed Sujon on Friday night and dumped body on a
roadside. Investigation is going on full swing to detect the criminals, he added.
