RHD invites applications for internship with allowance

Published : 06 Nov 2024 09:15 PM

The Road and Highways Department (RHD) has opened applications for a six-month internship program, offering students and recent graduates in civil engineering a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience. With an allowance of Tk 10,000 per month, this program aims to provide practical exposure to those interested in the field of road transport and infrastructure development.

The internship is open to Bangladeshi students who have either completed or are awaiting the results of their graduation or post-graduation in civil engineering from a recognized university. As per the Government’s Internship Policy-2023 for higher education students, applicants within two years of graduation are eligible to apply. Additionally, students awaiting results must submit a certificate from their educational institution's Head of Department.

A total of five positions are available, and selected interns will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the program. This certificate, however, will not guarantee any preference or advantage for future employment in any permanent or temporary roles in government institutions.

Applicants already engaged in other activities must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer. This internship is a one-time opportunity, meaning candidates who have previously interned under this program cannot reapply.

To apply, interested candidates should download the application form through the designated link, fill it out, and send it along with required documents via post or courier. This internship offers an excellent chance for civil engineering students to gain practical skills and insights in a government setting.
