Relief goods were distributed among 10 thousand poor families of 13 union under Noakhali Sadar upazila on behalf of Noakhali-4 constituency MP Ekramul Karim Chowdhury on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Tanmay Das and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman AKM Shamsuddin Jehan distributed the relief materials among these families. These relief items included rice, pulses, oil, onions, salt and potatoes.
At the time, Sadar Upazila Chairman, Shamsuddin Jehan said, that the relief supplies will continue to be distributed among 10,000 people every week due to the critical condition caused by the corona virus.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ariful Sardar of the upazila, Joint Secretary of district Awami League unit Maula Ziaul Haque Liton, businessman Ghulam Jilani Didar and many others were present there.
