The 23rd Annual General Meeting of Rehab Chattogram Region was held at Rehab Chattogram Regional Office. Vice President of Rehab and Chairman of Rehab Chattogram Regional Committee Abdul Kaiyum Chowdhury presided over the meeting on Monday evening.
At the beginning of the meeting, a minute silence was observed on the death of REHAB member Nid Limited, IAB president, brave freedom fighter, prominent architect, sports organizer Mobaswer Hossain and special prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the departed soul.
Abdul Kaiyum Chowdhury, the president of the meeting, extended his warm greetings and congratulations to all the members of Rehab Chattogram Region who came to the meeting.
In his speech, the president emphasized on the construction of buildings according to the rules and on protecting the interests of the buyers.
He said that while Russia has not overcome the shock of Covid-19 that started in 2020, due to the Ukraine war, the global economic slowdown, the rise in commodity prices, especially the price of construction materials. Amidst the ongoing global economic recession, the development of Bangladesh continues under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
There are golden opportunities for investment in Bangladesh.
In the meeting, it was decided to organize Rehab Chattogram Fair 2023 at Hotel Radisson Blu in Chattogram for 4 days from February 23-26.
Director of Rehab and Co-Chairman of Chattogram Regional Committee (1) Alhaj Engineer Mohd Didarul Haque Chowdhury spoke at the meeting.
Director of Rehab and Co-Chairman of Chattogram Regional Committee (2) Mahbub Sobhan Jalal Tanveer, committee members Nazim Uddin, Md. Morshedul Hasan, ASM Abdul Ghaffar Miyaji, Mizanur Rahman and members of Rehab Chattogram Region were present in the meeting.
