Reception to Guinness record breaker Rudra

Pabna junior footballer Isa Arafat Rudra has been given a reception for setting a Guinness World Record in football. The reception was given to him on Sunday night at the initiative of Chartarapur Union Parishad of Pabna Sadar Upazila. 

Chairman of Chartarapur Union Parishad Siddiqur Rahman Khan and UP Secretary Asaduzzaman presided over the reception. Pabna Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman and Sadar Upazila Awami League President Alhaj Mosharraf Hossain, Pabna Municipality Mayor Sharif Uddin Pradhan, Chartarapur Union Awami League President Jalal Uddin Biswas, Co-President Saidur Rahman Badsha Joyaddar, Abdul Wahab Pramanik, former Chartarapur Union Parishad Chairman Nizam spoke as special guests. 

Abdus Samad Janu is the father of Isa Arafat Rudra, a junior footballer who set a Guinness World Record in football, and Abdus Samad Janu, an active member of the Union  Awami League. 

Md Habibullah, Principal of Tarabaria Abu Bakar Siddiqui Alim Madrasa and Delwar Shahzada, Deputy Office Secretary of Bangladesh Awami Juba League Central Committee spoke as invited guests. 

Note that Isa Arafat Rudra broke the world record in the competition called Most Basketball Throw and Catchin Thirty Second. He throws and catches 26 times in 30 seconds. The previous world record was 14 throws and catches in 30 seconds. Father Abdus Samad Janu Joardar and mother Selina Begum Ruby. 

Rudra is currently studying science at the Shaheed Police Memorial College in Dhaka. He used to practice for 4 hours every day to set this world record. 

I applied for the record of 22 September 2021. I am a football freestyler so I started working hard accordingly. The application was approved on 14 October 2021. Then I was given some guidelines in the mail from the company. Accordingly, on November 14, 2021, I sent the video images and necessary documents to the organization, he said.

On February 15, 2022, his name was recorded in the Guinness World Records. Rudra thanked the Guinness World Records authorities for this and expressed his gratitude to them. Rudra is keen to take part in the World Freestyle Football Championship in the future. This small football freestyler was first inspired by the freestyler of Ashraful Islam Johan of Chittagong. 

Meanwhile, Rudra's family and locals are happy with his achievement. Rudra's father said, "I wish all the best for Rudra to achieve something much better and to uphold the name of Pabna and Bangladesh again in the face of the world."
