Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque, MP, unveiled the ninth edition of the Agricultural Technology Handbook published by Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) at the Agriculture ministry’s conference room on Sunday, February 23.
The ninth edition of the handbook, detailing the various varieties and technologies invented by BARI, describes a total of 424 varieties of crops and 112 technologies. The book can be collected from the head office of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute at a subsidized cost of Tk.500.
Agriculture Secretary Md. Nasiruzzaman, Director General of BARI Dr Md. Abdul Wahab, former director general of BARI Dr Abul Kalam Azad, Director (Planning, Evaluation) of BARI Dr. Md. Nazirul Islam and Senior officials of different ministries and organizations were present among others at the event.
