The Retired Armed Forces Officers Welfare Association (RAOWA) is going to arrange a seminar on ‘Education and Ethics’ on November 27 at the RAOWA Helmet Convention Hall in the capital.
The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm on Sunday, says a press release issued on Saturday signed by Major General (retd) Alauddin Mohammad Abdul Wadud, chairman of RAOWA.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni is scheduled to attend the seminar as the chief guest, while Prof Dr. Dil Afroza Begum, acting chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC); will attend the event as special guest.
Abul Kashem Fazlul Haque, a former professor of Dhaka University’s Bangla department; Dr. Syed Manzoorul Islam, a former professor of Dhaka University’s English department; and Lieutenant General Ataul Hakim Sarwar Hasan will take part in the discussion on the topic of the seminar. Major General Mohammad Quamruzzaman will moderate the event, while Prof Dr. Khurshida Begum will also take part in the seminar.
