Rakib Mahmud has been recommended in the final stage of appointment of Assistant Judge under Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission (BJSC) from Comilla University (Cou). He is a student of law department of the university in 2016-17 session.
The result was published on the website of Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission on Sunday (September 24) evening.
Rakib Mahmood, appointed of assistant judge, expressed his feelings, "I am very happy. Although I was student of below average level after admission in the university but when I became aware about my career then success comes to me and i can't express this happiness in words . The most big thing is the smile on the parents' faces."
Md. Abu Bakar Siddique, head of the law department, said, "This is definitely a good thing. But we had expected that some more people would be recommended. That's why we are a little disappointed! But this number will increase in the future.
It should be noted that the journey of Law Department of Comilla University started from 2015. Nishi Akhtar and Ashraf Hossain were recommended in 14th and 15th BJSC.
