A nurse of a private hospital has been admitted to Infectious Disease (ID) hospital in Rajshahi with the symptom of coronavirus (COVID-19). She has been admitted at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Friday morning from where she was sent to ID hospital on Saturday.
Prof Dr Azizul Haque Azad, Convener of Treatment Committee of Corona at RMCH, at a press conference on Saturday said that the nurse has been now admitted to ID hospital and put under observation. Samples from her body was also collected for testing of Coronavirus infection.
He further mentioned, till 10: 00 am on Saturday, total of 12 patients were under observation at RMCH of whom eight were released at noon and rest four are still under observation.
The press conference was attended, among others, by Head of the department of Medicine of RMCH Dr. Khalilur Rahman and Deputy Director of the hospital Saiful Ferdous.
