Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places, said a weather forecast issued by Met office.
"Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi division and the districts of Bagerhat, Kushtia and Chuadanga and it may spread.
Due to the increase of moisture incursion, the discomfort may persist," the bulletin said.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly
cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Day temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 39.0 degree Celsius at Rajshahi and Saturday's minimum temperature 21.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Sylhet.
Country's maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6:00 am Saturday was recorded 42 millimeters at Sylhet.
The sun sets at 06.16am Saturday and rises at 5.45pm Sunday in the capital.
