A Sub Inspector of Railway police was withdrawn on Tuesday in Rajbari.due to charged over allegedly receiving bribe from a passenger even having ticket.
Akbar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rajbari Railway Police Station confirmed the matter.
He said that Akstur Rahman, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Railway Police in Rajbari, took money as bribe from a passenger. Later, Pakshi Railway Police Super Md Nazrul Isalm withdrawn the ASI from the Rajbari on Tuesday.
Journalist Ezaz Ahmad said, “While he was taking bribe from a passenger even having a ticket at the Kalikhuli railway station I asked him about the matter. He left the spot without any answer. Later, I informed the matter to the higher authority.
