Amid the spared of coronavirus, local administration on Monday conducted drives to ensure social distance in Cox's Bazar. Three magistrates are leading raids in various places including Baharchhara, Hospital Road, Tekpara, Bazarghata, Tarabaniarchhara, Rumaliachhara and BGB camps in the district.
Several businesses were fined for defying lockdown. Announcement was made to raise awareness. Cox's Bazar Deputy Md. Kamal Hossain confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Post. The campaign would continue with the slogan of 'Stay at home, stay healthy', said the DC.
