Former Governor of Rotary Rafiq Ahmed Siddique died on Tuesday morning in the capital at the age 71.
Defense Adviser of Prime Minister Major general Tariq Ahmed Siddique is his brother and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s sister Sheikh Rehana is his sister-in-law. Rafiq Ahmed Siddique’s namaz-e-janaza was held in Gulshan Bhola mosque on Wednesday after Eid prayers. He was buried in Gazipur at same day.
Rafiq Siddique was the Managing Director of Pragati Industries Ltd and Chairman of Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation.
He left his wife, two son, one girl and numerous relatives and appreciative. He has activities in varieties comprehensive welfare work.
