Whether the Hindu mythological character Raavan is an evil incarnate or man of virtues, that’s an age-long debate. However, Mani Ratnam had interpreted the character of Raavan in his two films ‘Raavan’ (Hindi) and ‘Raavanan’ (Tamil) in his own way showing the mythological king in a character with grey shades.
Now, closer home, Tollywood has its own interpretation of ‘Raavan’ as superstar Jeet released the first teaser of his next film ‘Raavan’. The popular actor dons a completely different look and makes Raavan’s entry quite appealing. The evil look and smile, the cruelty in the intense gaze have already made it the talk of the town. Directed by M. N. Raj, Tonushree Chakraborty will be seen opposite Jeet. Lahoma Bhattacharya is making her debut in the thriller. Sporting a unique look, especially the well-groomed beard, long hair, makes the actor intimidating and vengeful with one eye glimmering red as he comes through a mist, sporting a tattoo of Shiva on his arm.

Interestingly, because of the similarity in title and Jeet’s intense look many are already comparing his character from the one Abhishek Bachchan donned in Mani Ratnam’s hindi version of ‘Raavan’.
Not just fans but Jeet’s friends and colleagues from the film fraternity have also heaped praise on the teaser. Jeet is one such actor who has never shied away from experimenting with his looks. We have already seen him in a wide range of characters in his previous films.
