Qulkhani and Doa Mahfil of Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Mahbub Hossain’s mother was held at their residence at Iskatan in the capital on Friday.
A Doa Mahfil was held for the departed soul at various mosques of Munshiganj district. Journalist Khaled Chowdhury and The Bangladesh Post's correspondent Md. Robel organised the prayer at the mosques with the help of the Imam’s of the mosque.
The Imams prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and asked for her piece.
Later the Imams led all to the graveyards for the ziyarat of the graves of the departed souls and prayed for the piece of their souls.
