Work-oriented education will be emphasized and delivered to the students by changing the curriculum of the National University (NU) in order to reduce educated unemployment in the country.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni made the remarks at the auditorium of Rangpur Police Lines School and College on Saturday, after the workshop on education system and quality improvement with the heads of educational institutions of Rangpur region affiliated to NU.
She said, “Students will be provided practical education through curriculum changes. We do not want to create certified students, but grow a system where no one will be unemployed at the end of education because most of the students are still studying at NU. We want to change the curriculum to ensure their career-oriented education so that they can get jobs soon after graduation.”
