A human chain was formed on Nabinagar-Companiganj road at Natun Bazar of Bholachang area at Nabinagar upazila in Brahmanbaria on Sunday protesting killing of Jahidul Hasan Sany. Later, a roadside rally was held there. Speakers of the human chain demanded exemplary punishment of the killers. Former chairman Habibur rahman presided over the rally while Partho Ranjan Paul, Golam Mawla Bhuiyan, Freedom Fighter Shamsul Alom Sarker, Tusher Kanti Das Titu, Harun-ur-Rashid, Jahangir Alam and others were present there.
28-year old Sany, son of Joynal Abedin of Bholachang village under Nabinagar municipality, went to Jibon Miah, son of Ismail Miah of Sreerampur village under Kacharibari mor of the upazila, on Wednesday for his money. In that time, the duo engaged in a quarrel and one stage, Sany came under attak by Jibon Mia and his men.
