Dhallywood one of the popular young actress and model of present times Puja Cherry Roy will be seen playing the role of psycho killer in her upcoming film titled ‘Lojja’, directed by Sanjay Samaddar. For the first time the actress will be playing such a character in a film. It is learnt that the shooting of the film will start from the last week of February.
Puja Cherry made her debut as a heroine from a child artiste in the Jazz Multimedia film titled ‘Noor Jahaan’ with Adrit Roy in 2018, directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee. Later she appeared in the film ‘Poramon 2’ with Siam Ahmed as Pori, the female protagonist, directed by Raihan Rafi and 'Prem Amar 2', 'Dohon’, and 'Jin' produced by the same company. In between, the actress has acted in films like 'Shaan', 'Psycho', 'Hridita' and 'Golui' produced by other production companies.
The young actress has proved herself through her acting skills and made her own position in the industry. Besides films the actresss also acted in promotional advertisements. Her debut popular TV ads was Teletalk 3G. Hence she acted in many TVCs like RFL Dining Table, RFL Chair, Rin Power White, Rin Refres, Senora napkin, Finlay tea, Ping Pong Glass Drink, Doodles etc.
On the work front, Puja has several movies including 'Shaan', 'Golui', 'Cash' and 'Psycho'. The first two movies are awaiting release.
