Complaints have been raised about quality of passenger service in public transport, fitness test, construction of structures in Narasunda River by the owner of Ijma Shobha Jorda adjacent to Dewanganj Bazar in Jafrabad Union of Karimganj Upazila, overwriting on signboards in agricultural exhibitions, traffic congestion and untidy Shishu Academy on Wednesday (10 August). Various categories of people made these complaints in the public hearing organized by the British Council and District Policy Forum Kishoreganj and District Administration.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shamim Alam was attended as chief guest. Kishoreganj District Policy Forum President Professor Robindranath Chowhdury presided over the public hearing. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education & ICT) Mohammad Golam Mostafa, Additional Deputy Commossioner (General) Md. Nazmul Islam Sarker and District Primary Education Officer Subrato Kumar Bonik were attended as special guest. Kishoreganj District Policy Forum General Secretary Mir Ashraf Uddin and British Council Platforms for Dialogue Project District Facilator Mohammad Nura Alam conducted the public hearing.
In the public hearing, officials from various departments discussed the solution to the complaint.
