An investigation by the Public Service Commission (PSC) has found no evidence of a question paper leak. The committee, led by Joint Secretary Abdul Alim Khan, completed its probe and presented its findings at a PSC meeting.
PSC officials said to the media that the committee did not uncover any proof of leaked question papers. They will now send this report to the government.
Earlier, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested 17 individuals, including two deputy directors and an assistant director of PSC, for allegedly leaking question papers for various recruitment tests. These arrests followed a news report by Channel-24, which claimed that question papers for 30 PSC recruitment exams, including the BCS preliminary and written tests, were leaked by a network involving PSC officials.
The report also mentioned a specific leak related to the recruitment exam for 516 railway posts held on July 5. It alleged that this network had been leaking papers for over a decade.
Currently, five PSC officials are in jail facing multiple charges related to these leaks.
