Bangladesh Awami League (AL) Jhenaidah Sadar thana unit organized a press conference at Jhenaidah press club on Wednesday morning protesting the ill-motive propaganda against organizations’ Thana unit General Secretary Shaidul Islam Hiron.
The press conference was held when some unscrupulous people had posted ill-motive and fabricated information on face book page and posted posters at different place of Jhenaidah against Hiron Hiron who is also the chairman of Porahati union parishad in Jhenaidah Sadar. Jhenaidah Sadar unit AL president, also chairman of Jhenaidah upazila parishad Abdur Rashid Advocate, Padmakar union AL president Bikash Kumar Biswas, Ghrosal union ALpresident Parvez Masud Lilton, Harisanaarpur union AL presidet Faruquzzaman Farid and Ganna union AL president Tofazzel Hossain among others were present.
The speakers said a vested quarter in Jhenaidah Sadar upazila immediate ahead of the union parishad elections had thrown the motivated information about Hiron who is a devoted worker in the AL.
They had urged upon the authorities to detect the evil doings and take necessary steps against those liable for the misdeeds.
