Rooppur Power Plant Project arranged programmes, including a condolence meeting, marking the National Mourning Day-2019 and 44th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The meeting was held in the Power Plant on Saturday.
Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman addressed the programme as the chief guest while Mahbubul Haque, chairman of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission spoke there as special guest.
Dr Showkat Akbar, director of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, presided over the meeting.
Later, a special doa and munajat was offered seeking salvation of the departed souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members.
