A fire has broken out at Headquarters of Pakshi Railway under Ishwardi Upazila in Pabna on Saturday. Important papers and electronics goods of engineering-1 store office of Pabna railway were destroyed in this accident.
Senior Station officer of fire service and civil defence of Ishwardi EPZ Shaheb Ali confirmed the matter.
Shaheb Ali also said we were informed at the morning while smoke spread out. After that we rushed to accident place.
It seems that, electric short circuit by IPS in the office causes the inferno.
Moniruzzaman, Engineer-1 of Pakshi divisional railway said important papers, furniture, computer, printers and many other equipment were burnt in this accident.
Mohammad ahsan Ullah Bhuiyan, manager of Pakshi divisional railway (DRM) told that a 4-member probe body formed with this connection. The probe body will give investigation report within three working days.
