The central committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League has formed a two-member probe body to investigate into the clash between two factions of its Islamic University unit.
A press release, signed by BCL central president Al Nahian Khan Joy and its general secretary Lekhak Bhattacharjee, was issued in this regard on Thursday night.
The members of the probe body are— Nazrul Islam and Sheikh Shadhin Shahed. The body has been asked to submit its reports within ten days.
Central BCL general secretary Lekhak Bhattacharjee said that they would take organisational action against the accused after getting reports from the probe body.
At least 20 activists including IU BCL unit general secretary Rakibul Islam Rakib were injured in a factional clash between two groups of the organisation on the campus in Kushtia on January 21.
