A prisoner of Dhaka Central Jail (Keraniganj) died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Humayun Kabir 67, son of Saij Uddin. His prisoner number is 9240.
Prison Guards brought him to DMCH at around 3:00pm where doctor declared him dead.
According to the physicians, DMCH police Camp In-Charge Mohammad Bahchcu Miah said when the prison guards brought him unconscious from the Central Jail to DMCH, doctors declared him dead after examination.
The body was kept in morgue for autopsy, he added.
