Collective and dedicated efforts are needed to fulfill the remaining national goals of Bangladesh. There is no need for sacrificing blood to achieve them anymore.

Education Minister Dipu Moni made the comment while speaking as the chief guest at the Silver Jubilee function of the Alumni Association of the Marketing Department of Dhaka University on Friday.

She said, “The country can move forward if everyone from grassroots to higher levels fulfill their respective responsibilities properly and promote the nation’s achievements globally.”

"We have reached a time when everyone can contribute to the development of the country. We have to promote the positive images of our country to the international community. The country’s image will depend on our efforts,” she said.

The Education Minister appealed to everyone saying that the country has achieved the target of 2021, but we have to meet the international commitment of 2030. There is no need to shed any blood to achieve anything now but everyone should fulfill their responsibilities with honesty and sincerity. Only then the desired goals of Bangabandhu's dream of building Sonar Bangla will be achieved.

Appealing to the expatriates, Dipu Moni said, "Bangladesh should be known by their warm behavior, humble mannerism and sensible words by the Bangalis who live abroad. We want to see a country that we dream of and only with the the sincere efforts of all can we become the desired Bangladesh.”

Awami League Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, Alumni Association President and former Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University, Dr Mizanur Rahman, General Secretary Faruk Ahmed Talukder and musician Fahim Hossain Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
