APBn members on Saturday arrested the main accused Azizul Haque and three others in the murder case of top Rohingya leader Muhibullah in Cox's Bazar.
In the afternoon, Azizul Haque was produced in the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Jerin Sultana. Azizul Haque has given a confessional statement under section 144 in the court and the court sent him to jail. They were arrested around 4 am on Saturday in the Lohar Bridge area under the Kutupalong Lambasia police camp in Ukhia. Earlier, five people were arrested in connection with the murder of Muhibullah.
Among them, a Rohingya named Elias has also given a confessional statement in the court.
Commander of the 14th Armed Police Battalion (APBn) Md Naimul Haque organized a press briefing around 1.30 pm on Saturday.

He told the reporters that Azizul Haque, who took part in the killing mission, said during interrogation that a meeting was held around 10 pm on the Moroccan Mountains in Lambasia, two days before the assassination of Master Mahibullah. Azizul Haque and 4 others were present at the meeting.
He also said that a top leader of the miscreants had ordered the assassination of Mahibullah. The reason is that Master Mahibullah had become a great leader of the Rohingyas. He has become an important figure day by day as he has played a special role in the repatriation of Rohingyas. He must be stopped.
Later, plans were made to assassinate him. He said that during the preliminary interrogation, Azizul Haque said that a total of 19 Rohingya terrorists took part in Muhibullah's murder at different stages, the APBn boss said.
