A press conference was held in Munshiganj on the occasion of providing land and houses to 54 families on Eid-ul-Fitr. The press conference was held in the conference room of the circuit house around 12 noon on Sunday.
In order to build a hunger and poverty free Bangladesh, 54 houses and lands will be provided among the landless and homeless families in Munshiganj as an Eid gift on 26th April.
Virtually from Ganobhaban on April 26, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over 54 houses in Munshiganj as Eid gifts.
The house will be handed over on April 26 to 54 homeless and landless families in Munshiganj in the third phase under Asrayan Project-2. The cost of each house has been estimated at 2 lakh 59 thousand 500 rupees. Earlier, only 506 houses were provided in the first phase and 331 in the second phase.
The press conference was chaired by Mohammad Enamul Hasan, Deputy Director, Local Government Branch. He presented a written statement of the Prime Minister's Eid gift to the journalists on two percent land.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Snehashish Das and Additional District (Overall) Abdul Qadir Mia answered various questions of the journalists.
