A thesis presentation on beekeeping and small footwear production in Bangladesh was organized by the Masyer of Economics ( Entrepreneurship Economics) in the Dhaka School of Economics.
Speakers said that Bangladesh has lot of potentialities in production on beekeeping to compete with foreign market. Small footwear production needs to formalise through taking appropriate produ tion process as demanded by experts. They argued proper policy framework for beekeeping in modern system as well as small footwear production needs development though institutional framework.
In the programme Faijul Siddiki and Afia Akter presented their research findings. Professor Dr Muhammad Mahboob Ali said that Bangladesh Economy has immense potentialities to upgrade through informal sector for which government initiatives are being required.
