Preparations have been taken in Kishoreanj to prevent coronavirus after detection of three coronavirus infected patients in Bangladesh. Civil Surgeon Office arranged a view-exchange meeting in this regard with Upazila Health & Family Planning Officers, Residential medical Officers and Health Experts at Civil Surgeon Office conference room on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner of Kishoreganj Md. Sarowar Morshed Chowhdury attended the meeting as the chief guest while Civil Surgeon Dr Mujibur Rahman presided over it. Among others Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Mostafizur Rahman, Former Civil Surgeon Dr Azaharul Islam, Assistant Professor Dr Abdul Wahab Badal of BMA and Dr Tajreen Tayeb spoke at the event.
Deputy Commissioner Sarowar Morshed Chowhdury said that additional measures have been taken for keeping public interests although no coronavirus infected patient have been found in the district yet. Civil Surgeon Dr Mujibur Rahman said the district administration and the health departments are working cautiously to face the coronavirus threat. He also added that there is nothing to worry about it.
