World Vision AP Thakurgaon Unit has distributed cows among fifty distressed families of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila. The program was arranged on the premise of Nargun Senior Alim Madrassa on Thursday noon.
Thakurgaon Deputy Commissioner Dr. KM Kamruzzaman Selim as the chief guest handed over the cows among the local families.
The program was chaired by Thakurgaon AP Manager Leobart Chisim. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kamrul Hasam Sohag, Upazila Livestock Officer Mamun-ur-Rashid, World Vision Nilphamari manager Swapan Mandal, Nurgun UP chairman Poygam Ali, program officer Shushamay Mankin and others were present at the program. Thakurgaon DC at the programme handed over the cows among 55 families. 210 families will gradually get cattle, World Vision AP authorities informed.
