Police workshop held in Chaudanga

Members of 17 temporary police camps in the district are playing vital role for maintaining law and order and health rules on COVID-19 among people in the concerned areas for long. 

Public representatives and common people expressed their opinion for running the camps anyhow at a workshop in the district town. 

A workshop on `Future Planning of Temporary Police Camp in Chuadanga district’ was held on the premises of Shilpakala Academy under the auspices of Chuadanga District Police on August 13. 

The workshop started through memorizing of Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman’s contribution to the nation. The workshop wished peace for the departed souls of Bangabandhu and his family members. 

Solaman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP of Chuadanga-1 constituency was present as chief guest. Jahidul Islam, Superintendent of Police presided over the workshop. Nazrul Islam Sarker, DC, attended as special guest on the occasion. 

Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP said the present government established the temporary police camp as per need of people. People are leading their lives peacefully and orderly for the camps. 

Police of the camps have been performing their duties to maintain health law among the people in the pandemic period of coronavirus.
