Police reap paddy of K’ganj farmer

Police extended their helping hands to farmers who are not able to reap paddy due to labour crisis. Police reaped paddy of a poor farmer at Mithamin upazila in Kishoreganj on Saturday.  

Under the leadership of OC of Mithamin Police Station Zakir Rabbani, a total of 22 police members went to paddy field of farmer Mohiuddin at Islampur village of the upazila and reaped 55 decimal land’s paddy and assisted the farmer in all activities of harvesting.

Mohiuddin said, “It was not possible for me to reap those paddy hiring labour in the high price.” He thanked police for harvesting the paddy and expressed gratitude.
