Police donates food to poor

One month’s ration materials of 140 police members under Ishwardi Police Station in Pabna were distributed among 450  distressed, jobless day-labourers’ families of the upazila. Police members visited door to door donating food items to those people at Friday night. 

Each family member received five kgs of rice, one kg potato, pulse, edible oil each, half kg salt, one soap and some vegetables. Among others, the food items donation programme was attended, by Additional Superintendent of Police of Ishwardi circle Feroz Kabir,  Officer-in-charge Bahauddin Faruqui, Inspector Orobindo Sarker, Incharge of Pakey Police outstation Shahidul Islam and ASI of Rooppur Project Bikash Chakravarty. OC Bahauddin Faruqui in this connection said, police members are proud to donate their ration to assist the jobless, distressed people. He voewd to continue such effort in future.  Additional Superintendent of Police Feroz Kabir said, he feels well to do some good jobs for helpless people.
