Shailkupa thana police in Jhenaidah have arrested an elderly man for a violation charge of a five year girl child on Tuesday morning. Th man was identified as Tarikul Joarder, 68, of village Royera in Shailkupa upazila in Jhenaidah. He was arrested when an uncle of the girl had filed a case against Tarikul Joarder on Monday night.
Shailkupa police station officer in charge (OC) Jahangir Alam when contacted said Tarikul had a good relation with the family members of the victim’s and he used to visit their house frequently.
Tarikul Joarder entered in to the house of the girl in absence of the family members and started violating her. As the girls started hue and cry, her mother appeared the scene and Tariul left the scene faster. Later the child was rushed to Jhenaidah Sadar hospital in a critical state.The arrested was produced before the court, police station OC said.
