Police, Bangladesh Army and Upazila Administration conducted joint drive in Gurudaspur upazila of Natore district from Tuesday to bring the law and order situation back to normal condition.
The locals and residents of the area are relived due to the operation conducted by them.
It was learnt that, after the fall of Awami League government on August 5, incidents of vandalism, looting and extortion increased in various places in the upazila. Moreover, the law and order situation worsened as the police personnel in the police station went to strike with various demands. However, the number of these incidents lessened as the Upazila Administration, Bangladesh Army and Police started working jointly and people were able to go back to their normal life.
The law enforcement forces are conducting drives regularly in various areas of Gurudaspur upazila. The locals of the area welcomed their actions and said these drives will help to bring back their peace and security.
Local administration said their joint operations will continue until the law and order situation becomes normal.
