PM’s new press secy pays tribute to Bangabandhu in Tungipara

Prime Minister's newly appointed Press Secretary Nayeemul Islam Khan paid homage and offered prayers at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Friday.

He paid deep respect to Bangabandhu by placing a wreath at his grave. The press secretary's wife and family members were present.

After paying respect, he prayed for eternal peace of the souls of all the martyrs, including Bangabandhu and his family members, who were killed on August 15, 1975, and the souls of all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Great Liberation War of 1971. He also prayed for good health and long life of Bangabandhu's daughter, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. 

PM’s Deputy Press Secretaries KM Shakhawat Moon and MM Emrul Kayas, Editor of Dainik Amader Orthoneeti Nasima Khan Monty, Managing Editor of Dainik Amader Notun Shomoy Arifur Rahman Arif, District Information Officer Md Sulaiman, Tungipara Upazila Chairman Md Babul Sheikh and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Moinul Haque, and journalists working in different print and electronic media in the district were also present.

Later, Press Secretary Nayeemul Islam Khan wrote comments and signed the visitors’ book kept at Bangabandhu Bhaban.
