Ibrahim Hossain, principal of Cox's Bazar DC College, said that the children of the current generation are busy with school lessons and mobile phones. They are not taking natural flavor of air.
Ibrahim said these while speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of athletics and rural sports at Cox's Bazar DC College. District Sports Officer Main Uddin Milki presided over the event. The programme was organised by Cox's Bazar District Sports Office under the Sports Department's annual sports program on Friday morning.
“Many people get ill and become physically and mentally weak. Therefore, it is very important to develop regular sports habits. Parents need to be more aware, everyone forgets sports in the unequal competition to be first in anything, which should not be at all,” He added.
The teachers and students of the college participated in the award distribution meeting conducted by DC College Shahjahan Ali. 180 students participated in the competition and 48 students won prizes in 16 events.
