All-rounder of Bangladesh Cricket Team Shakib Al Hasan is taking part in the 12th National Election to be held on January 7, 2024.
Shakib got nomination from Magura-1 for the ruling party Bangladesh Awami League.
The all-rounder just now is very busy for campaign at his constituency. Numbers of former and current national team’s cricketers and coaches joined Shakib in his election campaign.
Mohammad Salahuddin and Nazmul Abedin Fahim, the two favorite coaches of Shakib went to Magura on Friday. They played a friendly match at Nomani Stadium.
A lot of cricket star of national team played the friendly match. Former Test Captain Mominul Haque, Rubel Hossain, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Mithun, Saif Hasan, Nazmul Opu and Mahedul Hasan Ankan, Naim Islam, Mehedi Hasan Rana, Mukter Ali and Mizanur Rahman played the friendly match as a part of Shakib’s election campaign.
Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hassan due to his business for the upcoming election is missing the Bangladesh cricket team tour of New Zealand.
Apart from the players, media manager of the Bangladesh national cricket team Rabeed Imam went to Magura and joined them.
