New Superintendent of Police of Tourist Police Cox's Bazar, Manzoor Morshed, sought everyone's cooperation to make Cox's Bazar an overall safe tourist city.
He said people from all over the country, as well as foreigners come to visit Cox's Bazar. We want to create a safe environment for the people visiting the town. The Tourist Police are working to do everything it takes to ensure that tourists do not face any sort of harassment. They need the cooperation of the district dwellers for that. He said the journalists will pave the way for this cooperation.
He came up with the assertion while speaking at a view-exchange meeting with the journalists organized at Cox's Bazar Tourist Office on Monday.
The Superintendent of Police said that tourists come here to travel and enjoy the natural beauty. The tourist police have started their work so that the tourists do not express any annoyance when they come to Cox’s Bazar. The tourist police are in charge of the security of the tourist spots including all points of Cox's Bazar beach. Cooperation is needed for the safety of all the tourists in these spots, he added.
Moreover, SP Manzoor Morshed also put emphasis on cooperation with authorities concerned so that there isn’t anything unapproved in the tourist spots. He said the responsibilities regarding the tourist spot lie on district police, district administration and other important organizations of the administration. The tourist police are working together with them in this regard.
