The government's relentless effort to create employment opportunities throughout the years deserves plaudits. Especially the incentives in IT sector which the government provided to create new job fields is remarkable.
The government now plans to create 10 million employment by establishing innovative 10,000 startup entrepreneurs by 2026 for accelerated economic development. The spontaneous participation of more than 7,000 entrepreneurs, inventors and startups from 57 countries, including Bangladesh, in the initial phase of the "Bangabandhu Innovation Grant 2021" on the occasion of the Mujib birth centenary proves that Bangladesh today has a place of trust in the ICT sector.

A startup policy would be formulated soon to build an innovative nation by building an innovative ecosystem. Companies and various different industries should think of alternative strategies of running the business and change the conventional mindset. Collaboration is needed between research institutes and universities and this should be done to further propel us towards innovation and reap all the benefits of modern technological miracles.
The government has been working relentlessly to build a strong ICT backbone and this has led to expansion of information and communication technology to rural areas. This is a significant step to achieve government’s quest of becoming a developed country by 2041. In rural areas government has created more technical and vocational education and training as well as higher education in the areas of various emerging fields of technology.
New job fields in the ICT sector will not only create employment but will also help the country to cope with this rapidly changing world of technology. It will also boost necessary skills through different advanced technical education, hands on training, and finally through practical experiences in different dynamic technical and professional skills in ICT.
