The state minister said that Bangladesh had gained independence through the Great War of Liberation under the leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and with the help of people belongs to all faiths, castes, creeds and religions.

"A non-communal Bangladesh is our constitutional base. Everyone in the society should be aware of the fact so that the vicious clique of the defeated anti-liberation forces of 1971 could no longer harm communal harmony," he added.
