The Secretary of Foreign Affairs (Foreign Minister) of the Philippines, Enrique A. Manalo, has congratulated Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. A K Abdul Momen on the occasion of the Independence Day of Bangladesh.
In his message to Dr. Momen, Manalo extended his heartfelt felicitations and greetings to the people and government of Bangladesh.
Highlighting the longstanding and amicable bilateral relations between the Philippines and Bangladesh, Manalo said, "I hope to work closely with you in bringing our long-standing friendship forward and strengthening our cooperation to address persistent and emerging challenges, for the mutual benefit of our peoples"
The congratulatory message was recently received at the office of the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, the foreign ministry said.
