Members of RAB-5, Mollapara camp recovered 465-bottles of Phensidyl from a cement laden truck from Daingpara area under Godagari upazila of the district at the early hours of Friday.
Four drug peddlers were also arrested from the truck. They have been identified as Sharif Hossain, 26, son of Alauddin and Arif Hossain, 24, son of Quddus of village Mirjkhali under Borhanuddin Upazila under Bhola district, Rajib Hossain, 25, son of Mokhles of village Sumitra under Kalkini upazila of Madaripur district and Sohel Tarana, 33, son of Hajrat Ali of village Hatlaxmiganj under Mushiganj sadar upazila.
ATM Mainul Islam, Company Commander of RAB-5, Rajshahi informed, acting on a tip off, members of RAB stopped a cement laden truck and by searching inside recovered 465 bottles of Phesidyl. RAB seized the truck and 260 sacs of cement from the truck. RAB arrested four persons including the driver and the helper of the truck. A case has been filed with Godagari Model Police station in this connection.
