The PhD seminar on ‘Evolution of Cyber Crime and the Need of Cyber Jurisprudence in Bangladesh: Its Panorama and Prospects’ was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Monday around 10:30am.
IU Law department organized the seminar in the conference room of the Faculty of Law of Mir Mosharraf Hossain academic building.
IU Law faculty dean Professor Dr Sayeda Siddika addressed the program as a special guest while researcher Abu Hanif presented the research paper under the supervision of Professor Dr Reba Mondol of the Law department.
Professor Dr Nurun Nahar, Professor Dr Abdul Karim Khan, and Professor Dr Anisur Rahman of the Law department present as a discussant of the 1st and 2nd seminars while Professor Dr Reba Mondol of the same department in the chair.
Above 30 teachers from various departments were present here. The researcher presented cybercrime in detail and its jurisprudence in Bangladesh at the seminar.
